Why buy a used Audi e-tron GT quattro with Exchange and Mart?

It's always been a bit of a mystery why sales of Audi's e-tron GT have only ever been a fraction of those of its almost identically-engineered development partner, the Porsche Taycan. It was to try and restore some parity in this regard that Audi substantially overhauled the e-tron GT in 2024, initially with mid-level S e-tron GT and top RS e-tron GT models. The biggest seller in the line-up, the much more affordable e-tron GT quattro, followed in mid-2025 and is the car we look at here. The big price saving with this base model (nearly £20,000 over the S) means a big reduction in power. But otherwise you don't lose too much by choosing this entry-level variant and it offers the longest EV range figure in the line-up. Let's take a closer look.

About the Audi e-tron GT quattro

Even if you've set your heart on an entry-level Porsche Taycan, we'd suggest that you take a look at this e-tron GT quattro before signing on Zuffenhausen's bottom line. This Audi is slightly more affordable than its Porsche cousin, better specified and, some might think, slightly better looking too. The steering isn't as feelsome as a Taycan, but otherwise, there aren't too many downsides in pointing your money Ingolstadt's way. We certainly can't see why you'd find nearly £20,000 more for the mid-level S e-tron GT, still less pay £127,000 for an RS e-tron GT. But you could say the same about the value proposition of more powerful Taycans. What is refreshing in either case is the opportunity to get a large luxury sporting EV that isn't an SUV.

Representative Example

Borrow £6,000 with £1,000 deposit over 48 months with a representative APR of 17.9%, monthly payment would be £171.83, with a total cost of credit of £2,247.84 and a total amount payable of £9,247.84. CarMoney Limited can introduce you to a limited number of finance providers based on your credit rating and we will receive a commission for such introductions this can either be a % of the amount borrowed or a flat fee. This does not influence the interest rate you’re offered in any way. CarMoney is a broker not a lender.
