The Footman James Bristol Classic Car show is the longest running and friendliest classic car show in the UK
The show recently celebrated its 37th anniversary with hundreds of stunning classic cars on display. The packed classic car park sees a vast array of vehicles driven in by visitors, creating one of the most impressive collections of privately owned classic cars in the south west of England.
Our loyal classic car owners’ clubs never fail to impress either. 2016’s event saw the clubs turn out in their masses, with each and every one making a huge effort with their hand-made stand displays. Providing our visitors with endless information about their incredible vehicles, these wonderful mini-communities help to keep the classic car scene alive.
We invite a wide range of independent traders year on year, including specialist suppliers of parts and services, tools and vintage memorabilia. We dedicate one of the biggest halls at the showground to create a huge indoor autojumble, where our visitors often claim to lose themselves for hours rummaging through one man’s trash to find their own piece of treasure!
New to the event, a Classic American Car of the Year heat now features every year, giving car owners the chance of being picked to go through to the final stages of this prestigious competition at the NEC Classic Motor Show in November.
The show also includes the Charterhouse Auction on Sunday, with a fantastic line-up of classics waiting to go under the hammer. Visitors are free to browse through the awaited lots on Saturday, but will need a catalogue to gain entry on Sunday.
The Footman James 38th Bristol Classic Car Show takes place on June 17-18, 2017 at The Royal Bath & West Showground, Shepton Mallet, Somerset BA4 6QN.
